Double everything else- transport, education, roads, etc and we have a better country.
Very cool quiz i got to the part about social secrity but don't feel like finishing with a 90billion surplus

Unrealistic, and doubling everything else wouldn't make us better; the Soviets spent on all that shit and they had bread lines. I cut defense to $350B, zeroed Iraq/Afgh., did cuts to transportation (show me amtrak isn't a money pit), increased scientific research, cut the TSA, cut federal spending on drug enforcement, cut all military aid to foreign countries, cut funding to the UN, and many other cuts. Cut farm subsidies in a big way too, fuck that shit, that's how we get HFCS and ethanol hurting our food supply and making us fat. Stop subsidizing corn so damn much and we won't need a sugary drinks tax.
Taxes made a new bracket for $1M+ but not extreme, cut the estate tax (I can't take it with me but I damn sure can make sure my kids aren't the victims of government theft, this is a drop in the bucket revenue-wise anyway).
Got social security to 112.5% by raising the age to 68, removing the income cap, and something else I forgot.
$65B deficit and SS at 112.5%. Realistically I'd cut medicare/medicaid as well to make this a surplus (raise medicare age gradually, matching social security and eventual phase out), and then the ever fun "waste" cutting, which at this low of a deficit level would make a difference.
