(2) Google will actually punish you in the SERPs for having TOO MANY backlinks. You must find the right amount of links to balance out your website. This varies by site.

(3) If a site that is a PR 10 gives you a link, this will push your pagerank into negative numbers..... Never accept links from a PR 10 website under any circumstances. Trust me.

(4) Sometimes google will ban your site for being too awesome. Never allow your website to become too great.
