Seriously you have to ease yourself in to affilaite marketing. A wise man said "dogs listen to their masters but human beings pay attention to what they are told".
Stop listening to the fact that you are pissed off at the job you have right now. Keep it and instead dedicate your weekends to working on learning to build websites, learning about landing pages, learning what this hoopla about ppc and cpas are. If you want some ebooks, yes i admit i bought some ebooks when starting out, pm i will email you. Basically cpa is this you spend 1 buck and make 20 bucks. Now you are not the only one in the world who knows this. There are people like Aojon.com and another guy called Shoemoney.com who know this and who can forget Mr Diorex(pleasure talking to you on aim and bring your blog back
" and they are more talented than you are in terms of testing, they test and test and test until they somehow have figured out what works.
I quit my job at a semiconductor company last year to drive a taxi. Why because i am stupid maybe, but i love the freedom that i can walk into a starbucks anytime without having to worry about my boss and build adwords campaigns and then go work for 2 hours make 300 bucks then come back and check on what campaigns are working and repeat and rinse until i am sure that i have enough saved up to go into it fulltime.
Get it, Dont rush into a Mexican stand off having only six bullets, you have to ease yourself into whatever you do. Once you let your newbie emotions take over you and tell your boss to fuck off make sure that you have 4 months of rent taken care off and of course your internet connection is still working and you have real results(profitable ones not oh oh oh people are clicking on my ads.
This is the real world son, and in the real harsh world thing take time to materialize. It has taken me sometime to realize this and even though i have 20k coming in from an insurance company(cause some bitch hit me with her car) i am not going to suddenly quit driving the taxi. But i am going to reduce the hours and increase the volume of my campaigns and then gradually quit.
Some more advice whatever you do make sure what you start promoting is something you are passionate about. I repeat make sure and i cannot put enough emphasis on this
make sure you start promoting things, offers or products that you are passionate about. if you cannot find it something and you think you have a chance create one. sell an ebook about my wild adventures on wickedfire.com if you can find buyers.
Trust me if shoemoney and i got into competition in the salsa dancing market i would creame him from keyword research to knowing how much to pay for keywords the whole nine yards but i would never dare get into the ringtone market waving my dick around, i just wouldnt. It would be suicide and i would never know where to start. We maybe underestimating your enthusiam for your need to be successful and what kind of drive you may have, well forgive us but when 2,3 to 5 people say the same thing over and over i would advice you to take heed to what we are saying.
