In India there is a huge difference between poor and rich and most of them are poor, but there are *plenty* of VERY RICH people too, so to be an "Emperor" in India you'd still need to be an American billionare and still you'd probably not make it as an "emperor".
But yeah, with a few grand a month you can be well off.
Still, the place to go now would be Bulgaria, not India.
Pay peanuts for a house now, it'll be worth $$ within 20 years, maybe less.
