Emilian F. has a spectacular aura about
Fuckyeah

Here's a line by paragraph take on Jon's persuasion techniques:

I've decided to go this route due to yet another crackdown by large social networking sites. FaceBook this time. Myspace last time. Government many times. Shady networks trying to spam our members behind our backs. Lame newbies trying to get something for nothing.
This is the old good guy/bad guy with a rescue attempt in there aka the hurt and rescue.

The bad guys are EVIL Facebook, bureaucratic Myspace, and secret Government. Oh yeh and those lame newbies trying to get something for nothing.

But don't be afraid.

Good guy Jon comes in for the rescue, ahhh. That makes me feel much better. BTW, can I pay for that? Heres my $25 for coming in and rescuing me from the evil networks!

I'm tired of it. I miss the old quality of WickedFire. I miss the bash-a-thons. I miss just shooting the shit and having fun.
Here we have a case of association: a positive association with the "good old WickedFire" that had quality, bash-a-thons and having fun. Awww, buy it is ok you can still have these old feelings if you pay $25 a month!

The paid area will be cheap too. Most likely a low monthly fee. $25 or less. Or maybe a one time annual recurring fee.

I want to get rid of our dependency on the large banner ads on top, and allow users to buy ad space here and use it for fun or to market their services for cheeeap.
Here we have the negotiating tactic of "empty promises" - that is promises with a certain wishy-washy qualifier such as "may be", "most likely" and vague statements.

Notice the absence of absolutes: never, always and so on.

Suggesting the possibility of cheaper marketing in the future, and buying ad space on the forum makes paying for the forum much easier to swallow. TAKE MY MONEY JON!!

Well I am done looking but I am sure there are a ton more in the post.
