I've never used coop link networks in my life. Not that I have anything against them, but I like to use what I know and what works for me. I get backlinks from reputable and relevant sites. Whether they are blogs, content sites, product sites, directories, whatever. As long as it's relevant to my site and page, then I go for them. I don't do any of my link campaigns anymore either, it's all outsourced, but you have to do the grunt work yourself first so that you can figure out what works for you, and then show someone else how to do it, so they can do it your way, and you won't suffer from any changes. That's just my take on it.
