To some people McDonalds would be easier, since it doesn't require as much brain power. You do your usual every day routine, get a paycheck at the end of the week.
In IM you consistently have to be thinking and working to stay a step ahead of the game, you're the only person responsible for your paycheck. it's not something everybody can do, thats why the OP is pissed.
I do think people can get lucky, such as I have, but luck and skill are completely two different things. Luck is only going to last so long, while skill is confidence which can last a life time.
