Just a tip I figured out with Wordpress MU that I figured would suit this thread until I do a full write up on how to install MU.

If your running GoDaddy on a shared host you CANNOT use the MU sub-domains but you can use the Sub-Directories.

MU apparently requires you to set up your wildcard DNS which isn't an issue but you've also got to set up your httpd.config file which with GoDaddy you don't have access too and even if you ask them to set up that file they will not do it so your shit out of luck.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on that and someone did managed to make the sub-domains work on a GoDaddy shared hosting account.
