Any conference that targets the industry you are in or looking to get in is good for a number of reasons. For the most part the discussions, keynotes and such are basic. If you are new to the industry it will be very enlightening, if you are a little rusty or tired of it may invigorate you, if you are extremely active in the industry you will not likely hear something you don’t already know. However, these conferences are all about the networking. I have been in Internet Marketing and Advertising since 1996 and I will be going to every discussion room I can, and I will attend every social event I can, and I will get to that damn exhibit hall no matter how crappy I feel – this is my mantra I say it every morning
