This is also why the majority of Canadians who need any sort of advance health care come to the United States. Because 1. Their health care sucks and 2. you have to get on a 6 month waiting list to get any sort of procedure.
That is EXACTLY what I want in America. Health care that sucks, Doctors that won't see me for month, and taxes around 50%. Sounds perfect.
And I like how you bring up the war when it is completely irrelevant to health care. I like how that is everyone's failsafe these days. When you don't have a good response, "omg but teh WARRRR!11111".
Oh, and Ron Paul is against the war anyways.

Dude, on the subject of universal healthcare, you do realize that in nearly all of those countries they still have private healthcare dont you? From my observations, doctors in the states want to do two things, 1) operate on anyone and everyone they can, even if the benefits are not insanely huge for the patient, 2) protect their asses because they will most likely be sued if they do even the slighest thing wrong.
I do like the service in the states, but at the same time I would prefer to see healthcare run a little less like a business.
