Ok Jon, I'll give you Shoemoney and John Chow. Those guys really "specialize" in nothing, except for blogging. Their blogs are mainly their "personal rants about anything and everything." I don't think their goal is even to give good advice, their goal is just to make their blog interesting. It's more like entertainment.
But then there are people like Amit (Super Affiliate MIndset). Ok this guy's corney, but he's a real affiliate. He's got the black card and claims $90k a month in profit. I think he's the real deal.
UberAffiliate is another good blog, Zac Johnson's blog is useful too.
They aren't absolute noob blogs. Intermediate? Yes. But don't knock them, many of them give good advice.
And come on Jon, like you don't do shameless promotion/linkbait?
