Yes, but they weren't being used to piggyback off of an industry icon. Like it or not, shoemoney is recognized and it's obvious that ranking for his name would get traffic here.
My point was, that if you're going to steal someone's marketing thunder and try to appeal to their target market...this isn't the right way to do it.
But that's just my opinion on marketing. Random wild linkbait with no purpose or target other than a rant may be the point, and then that isn't marketing. It's just ranting on one of bajillion forums filled with nutjobs.
