But we don't have to raise taxes to pay for things.... we WASTE billions the longer we don't live by a balanced budget.

You are willing to raise your taxes to balance things when THERE IS NOTHING STOPPING THEM FROM CONTINUING SPENDING.

Would I be cool with a tax raise now? NO

Would I (and many others) be cool with a temporary tax raise to reduce/eliminate the deficit with guaranteed spending controls in place? YES

To sit passively back and encourage a tax increase with out FORCED change is plain stupid.

Until we have campaign finance reform, term limits, lobbying reform that is good for America, government required to spend BELOW it's means, less entitlement, etc... you might as well just flush whatever your paying down your toilet or give it to nickeycakes
