Apparently Google has announced FriendConnect - which will be a more kickass version of MyBlogLog - in their quest to take over the universe.
The site isn't live yet, but once it is, they will be accepting limited applications to the beta service at:

I'm going to try and snatch up an "invite" early in case they really are limited and I'll report back when I learn. This looks pretty cool in the grand scheme of things.
