Also you should probably get some kind of rss reader (i use google reader) and subscribe to some feeds from respected SEO's. Most of what they talk about will be over your head at first but the more you read eventually terms just click in your head-

Also its a good idea to read and subscibe to Mashable's blog as it keeps you up to date on social network news.

Try using Deal Dot Com for affiliate links. When you refer others to Deal Dot Com they get a free account and anything that they buy will give you 35% commission forever.
