LOL, For those who don't know how to close the browser instead of switching off the PC and restart it: Right click (or hit Alt+Ctrl+Delete) on the Taskbar and select "Task Manager" select "processes" and then select "firefox.exe" (if the browser is firefox, for IE it is iexplore.exe) and hit "End Process". A warning window pops out, hit "Yes" and the browser shuts down.
PS: Don't select "restore previous session" option when you start your firefox later. Otherwise you would end up getting owned again.
BTW, I got owned 4 to 5 times.
