I think people go a bit overboard on these. I suspect shoemoney still pushes a ringtone lead or two each month.
Mostly what you have are a lot of people who don't know what they are doing blowing $100.00 adwords and asking why they didn't get any conversions for Dadamobile on
Azoogle.
But I agree. Ringtones are dead. Don't promote ringtones, it is a bad, bad idea. Might as well put peanut butter on your money and feed it to your dog. Promoting ringtones will likely cause you to lose all your fingernails, and potentially kidney failure.
