each and every time someone searches for him on Google is permanent. He's going to have that rank pretty much forever, unless he gets a really expensive PR company to deal with it, or some one else with the same name fucks up even more majorly and gets major news coverage.
I'd say the best thing for your dad is to move to South America and get in good with a drug cartel. I hear they're not so much into looking people up online or with criminal databases when it comes to employment.
