Jon started his forum soon after his thread gained popularity on Sitepoint forum where he was a member that time. The thread was about the amount of revenue he made from mortages on a monthly basis. About the same time, Kieron Donoghue (UKoffer) made a somehow similiar thread on the same forum which also became very popular. Anyway, this was all the way back in 2006 if I am not mistaken!
