For serious business, you need a serious keyboard:
Model M keyboard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you've never tried a keyboard with mechanical switches, I highly recommend that you do. There's no good reason to pay over $100 for keyboards that suck at their most fundamental function (typing) -- especially when you can buy a Model M for $50 or less on eBay that will probably last you forever. They are loud though, which is kind of a game killer depending on where you work. I'm looking to buy
this for my day job since it is relatively quiet compared to the clacking of a Model M.
