Completely agreed. I have a friend whose gamertag is "JusCallMeSteve". Back in the days of Halo 2, he was an admin at the popular gaming site H3Mod.com. He made mods for Halo 2 and everyone wanted to play games with him just so they can see the mods that he developed.
When Halo 3 came out, Forge came out with it. This was Bungie's way of getting around the mods that people chose to perform, and in doing so turned off a lot of the modders (their target audience, I might add).
Can't wait for Demonoid to be back in business...
