^ It would be a fucking nightmare to print that design. But it is fucking badass.

And yeah, that's a full color process job, best done on an automatic press (so every stroke has the same exact pressure, angle, deflection, etc..so each set of dots prints perfectly in tune with the others) and you'd be looking at a minimum of $200 in setup fees. That's just getting film outputs, burning screens and press registration. Some shops charge upwards of $400 to setup a full color job.

It could be done with dye sublimation/heat transfer but those prints don't wear or wash well. You're talking a lifespan of less than a year before it looks like shit.

Alternatively, it could be done by someone with a direct to garment dye sublimation machine (lower end units cost $100k) but IMO, the print quality, and especially on dark garments, of direct to garment printing is not really that good. The colors are all muted, non of the "pop" you get with a good plastisol print.

I've offered a couple times now to print some of the less convoluted designs, it's in the hands of the powers that be. And no, I don't have an automated press. 4station6headOldSchoolLawson4lyfe!!!
