I wasn't "gone" for almost a year, maybe 6 months at most. I spent a couple months of that in SE asia, which was awesome and the rest I spent working and relaxing at home. I didn't have the urge to write anything on the blog during that time, which I guess qualifies as "disappearing", but I was still around
