A 3 party system isn't much better, look at Ross Perot. As great of a guy as he is , he put Clinton in office , and if you're on the other side of the bill, Nader sealed the victory for bush in 00.
As seen in Canada , all that has to happen is for 3rd party and one of the major 2 to do a power broker and then the winner in terms of votes gets pushed to the side and that's not a good thing.
Straight ticket ballots (ie: where you can just simply choose a party) should be made illegal. Some people might actually have to pay attention to who they're voting for if they gota remember their names in any category other than president, governor, mayor.
