Funny thread
This is a pretty funny post on so many levels.
First, Jason, I mean "thegooner" I suggest you don't kiss anyone's ass, unless that is what you are into.
Second, as the author of LeadCritic and the author of the "about" page and hundreds of posts talking about my personal experience generating and buying leads I find it humorous that your concerns go far beyond simply reading the blog to find your answers. Why waste wickedfire thread on this?
I wish moderating a few sessions here and there made me a rock star, but I will be the first to admit that I am far from it. lol
offersmacks, who clearly is associated with "thegooner", because you just so happen comment on the same threads, is stating a complete lie. Being a lead manager, not the accounts payable, or apart of the executive team, or the owner of the privately held company does not put me in position to make any payments to vendors. But with that said, and I can pull any past vendors to attest that I have always been more then transparent with billing issues that I foresaw. Clearly offersmack is only talking smack and has no idea what he is talking about. Why, because I still have very solid relationships with every single vendor I have ever dealt with.
Lastly, if the LeadCritic blog is the only place where people find out about industry news then I want to know where all my traffic is. I am flattered to think that people only hear about cutbacks - which I can't remember the last post that had anything to do with cutbacks - but seriously doubt that is the case. Heck, maybe I should be walking around conferences like a rock star! lol
