Is Media Trust going down?

:crying:Media Trust has not paid publishers, some haven't been paid since February. They claim they had an acquisition and are now stronger than ever but when we ask about payments, they keep telling us "very soon". We are now promised our April payment will come next week (mid July) which is 2 months late but they want us to keep the traffic coming. Ha!

We stopped all our traffic to Media Trust in June when we realized they were out of money.

I am very p.o'd as I need to take money out of my pocket to cover MT's failure to pay. A couple of companies I know are in the same position with MT - not getting paid.

It's too bad. MT had some of the best CPC payouts in the industry. I guess it was too good to be true.
 


mediatrust has been bad off since they laid off most of their workforce in 2008 and then again laid off the rest later on. All their talent either left or got laid off from that company. This was before they decided to turn into some CPC company though.
 
mt owner is very very wealthy.... and the acquisition is a friends company... they deff aren't going down
 
@pitak...they are not going down. If they were going down, they wouldn't purchase another company..duh. I personally know the owner, and it has to do with complexities with the bank terms when they acquired a company. I know plenty of mailers that are still working with them and have been paid as they promised. Yes, they were behind but they contacted me (my pub manager and their CEO), gave me a payment plan, and stuck to it. They paid me exactly when they said they would unlike some of the other networks that fucked everyone...me being one of those people. They lied, then left with our money. Other people have had cash flow problems for one reason or another...like XL Marketing until they just got funding. Now everything is fine. What matters to me is that you do what you say you are going to do. If they had promised me payment on a certain date, and didn't come through then I would worry. That's the problem with this industry....everyone just wants to shit on everyone and talk shit about everything. We should give credit to networks that try to do the right thing. When you post shit like this, you just create bigger issues and scare....then publishers bail and then you create a bigger issue.

But if name something like Media Scum then no should trust.

they are very old affiliate network .They have payment issues even in 2009 ,i did not get paid 2 months but later they sent me all the money they owed me.Just need to contact your AM and know what is going on
 
They did pay up to us and we are up to day, but a friend is on a payment plan, for really small amounts. We are working with them again. Hopefully there won't be payments problems in the future.
 
Goodluck getting paid. Several associates I know, including our company has not been paid for months now. However, some were paid in terms but we are all getting the same run around. I wonder if this is another case of azoogle/epic and others of the same fate. Most associates i know including us, have stoppped traffic completely months ago.
 
In June, I remember reading the article "CPA Doesn’t Work Says Peter Bordes" on pee-sack lattin's site....me thinks Peter Bordes doesn't know how to make CPA work.

got paid from them. they were late for June I believe b/c of some acquisition. July came on time.
