Read the whole thing, still confused as to how he plans to monetenize all these new fans. Send them an email about micheal jacksons death or something?
There are many ways to monetize Facebook "fans", but usually with shady CPA offers. E.g. click here to see Michael Jackson, then goes to a CPA lander, which promotes some SMS thingy that you need to fill out before you get to see the picture. And many other ways.
You target market is basically people who can be "duped" into sensational crap like that, who in turn can probably be duped into filling out an "IQ quiz" or zip submit.
no i undestand that part moltar but where is he displaying those ads? is he mailing them out or displaying ads on the facebook page or something?
Regardless of exactly how he accomplished it, that is an incredible amount of fans to accumulate in just a few days. And, since they appear to be still active, he must have done it within the rules of the game. Good read..I will pas it along!
He doesn't monetize them. He convinces businesses how important it is for them to have fans. Then shows them how awesome he is because he can get them fans for so cheap.
While conveniently ignoring the fact that all the tips he gives that would help lower the cost of getting a fan for a business also lower the value of those fans.
that's been a blackhat tactic for ages. except you send them to a cpalead shit. those shits are dying out fast... and fanpages like that usually get banned within 2 weeks or 1 month if you're lucky. yu fucked up

I started a fan page about 1.5 weeks ago and i have 20k fans as of today using a lot of the methods from this article.
As far as monetizing, i currently have 2 ways i'm doing it:
1. LEGIT offers from my niche (no rebills or any shady crap)
2. Reminding people i have more content on my blog and linking them, resulting in adsense rev from my site.
As long as you offer good content on an ongoing basis, mixing in some aff offers work. Also, facebook is great at giving you demographic info for your fans. So you can even find some offers that relate to your target but may not relate to your niche exactly...
