Not the OP but I think I can answer for them as I've done this before. They had no issue doing this, just let them know in the comments. Might also be a good idea of words you don't want include and substitutes if it's an odd niche.

In general, yes. However all our writers are North American so I wouldn't be able to guarantee perfect British word use as some things might slip by. More common word use would be identified though.
