Trying to find a PHP sniplet that will allow me to detect if a visitor is coming from a US Demographic.
The reason for this is because of the GoldPak campaign being run on A4D. Apparently if the person is a US resident, it just goes straight to the landing page as expected.
But if they are not a US resident, then the following happens.
So what I would like to do is find a PHP code sniplet that allows me to check to see if the visitor's hostmask/address is a US resident/source and target the goldpak ad only to them, then if not US then put adsense or another campaign in it's place.
I've removed the ad in the meantime. Really don't want to associate this particular domain with popup-hell.

I've heard similar thing from quite a few other international vistors in regards to the goldpak ad.first- comes up a page in a new window that says offers not available in my area
second- it changes to some crap about a gas card fillyourtank4free.net
third- I CLOSE that window and a new window opens also fillyourtank4free.net
fourth- I again CLOSE that window and a new window opens also fillyourtank4free.net - bonus page
fifth- I CLOSE that window and a new window opens also fillyourtank4free.net - bonus page
sixth- I CLOSE that damn window and a new window opens - this time its laptops.freepay.com/
finally when I CLOSE that window I'm out.
So sorry I miscounted - it isn't 5 pages, it is 6 in 5 windows!!!!!
All I'm sayin' is don't run the gold thing.
