Not sure if you're serious about the recession Zinger, check their last year revenue.

I hate their checkout process too, but godaddy is where average people buy domains, and you are not the average guy. If you work with websites and any monetization methods you are different from 99% of the others. You don't behave the same way in front of ads, banners, forms etc.

People buy what you tell them to buy, especially if the recommendation comes from a trusted site like godaddy.
