I havent heard anything. Adteractive is big in the mortgage space. They may have reduced staff in response to the slumping mortgage market and a lower demand for leads as more and more mortgage brokers fold their businesses

Well.. on that note.. HSBC just closed down one of it's calling centers.. But I think it had more to do with credit collections than mortgages.

I've been reading some of the mortgage blogs lately, definately a bit of a shakeup is going on right now. I have heard Lending Tree alone has cut their spending 40%.

The thing was that you used to be able to get a mortgage with no qualifications. Standards have tightened up quickly and now everyone wants quality leads.

Mortgage leads still paying strong and in demand, refi's that is. Debt consolidation and credit repair leads are going to skyrocket really soon.

Lets not forget foreclosures, with all the adjustable rate mortgages from the early days of the boom beginning to mature more people will fall in to foreclosure than ever before
