For any of you guys that are in the PPS/coupon space RetailMeNot was sold for up to 90 million today. (Odd because I didn't see the listing on flippa)

I don't know how I missed this. That is pretty crazy for a scraper site.

What are they really doing? Seo and Cookie stuffing, that's about it.

Not really cookie stuffing. Leeching off of sales, but that is an issue with all coupon sites.

Yeah I haven't actually went through the page code to see if they are dropping cookies before linking out just figured they were somewhere, maybe not as they are too visible now especially since being bought out. Either way they are def leeching off sales with craped content.

I have to give it to them, there SEO is damn good. They rank in the top 3 listings for so many big store names like JC Penny and Macy's.
