Just saw this article today in SE Land. Apparently, they send some webmasters an email ahead of de-indexing.
Quote:
Not sure what to make out of this. It seems unlikely that Google would legitimately warn webmasters before they get sandboxed... maybe this alert is reserved for sites that appear to be hacked?

I think it would be a miracle if Google would start warning all webmasters or even lets say 5% of webmasters giving them reasons why they website is at risk.
I might be wrong but believe it more for website owners that google believes their websites were hacked and or xrummered with no mercy... my 2c MBlaster |

well i just saw another video a few weeks ago, and matt cutts said that while they do warn websites of some things ONSITE that are dodgy to warn them in order to fix them, stuff like cloaked text, linking to bad neighbourhood sites etc, which are most of the case signs of your site being breached.
Matt cutts said thay will specifically avoid warning potential blackhattrs of when they may be breaching webmaster guidelines. This is because if google instantaneously gives them a heads up of when google has detetcted that your xrumer run has crossed the line for instance, than these webmasters will work the system, and on the next run just stay below the limit and figuure exactly how much to go and not cross the line. So you're unlikely to get warnings that your spun content is too crappy or your xrumer has been too obvious. |

They target content farms and link selling heavily these days.We need to be careful.Because,if they caught too many, then solving the problem takes more time.
