Basically this company developed the tracking technology to be able to not only sell to performance advertisers per Fan but also to track those fans throughout the lifetime of their fanhood on facebook. This could be an interesting idea for larger companies interested in building strong brands. Still, it's too easy to game the system and unofficially Fb said every 3rd user is fake... So yeah, it could have some serious issues when using this kind of service. But as social media gets bigger and even more mainstream, solutions like this will keep popping up.
