TBH, I'm pretty sure this TLD will never happen. It seems like a great idea, but there are too many people opposed to it because they think it would legitimize the porn industry (not that it needs legitimizing). Even if it DOES happen, you better believe all the major 1-word domains will be gone before it even becomes public. The big domainers will grab those things up pre-reg. =)

I'm against .xxx. Not because it would legitimize the porn industry, because it would be setting the internet up for censorship. Eventually it would become required to have an xxx domain to have any nudity on your site, before you know it people would be going to jail for showing a nipple on a .com.

and probably many internet providers or companies will ban or restrict access to all websites with a xxx tld, so better let's stick to the classical com.

Imagine the good porn .com names like sex.com and shit like that. If they did come out with the .xxx and not allow porn on any other TLD, they would be fucked.

well sorta and sorta not, most companies that own sex.com, porn.com and the likes have huge bank accounts and would most likely sue the shit out of .xxx if they were forced to use .xxx and not their own .com
