George Avery Has His Own Network
This has been confirmed after a weekend full of swirling rumors..
George Avery has officially left CPA Empire on good terms to start his own network. No word yet on what the name of the new network will be called. He has taken Lou and his brother Pat along with him. So that's the official news on this rumor. After speaking to him briefly today, he said that after they get settled into a new office (somewhere downtown Denver, CO), they'll be making announcements on what's to come. I'm sure we'll see great things from that crew, and I'm sure, even though some people may disagree, that Scott Richter is proud of them because they were privelaged to have him as a mentor and teacher for so many years. Although this makes the total ad networks in the industry at a bit over 750 (there were only 250'ish ad networks in the summer of 2006 -- talk about growth!), at least this one is being launched by people who actually know what they are doing, so we can all expect good things to come from it. If anyone has any questions, George and Lou said you can call them about it.

Awesome good to hear. Couldn't have picked a better mentor for those guys. George is a good guy in the industry. Got the chance to hang out with him a few times, and he's owe of the few people I know who geniunely care about building relationships.
On another note, this is devesating news for their hockey team. Those are some badass players that are leaving.
