Sorry... I'm back!
|
Damn, just when I started making money with them.
I'm sure this won't affect much in terms of offers paying on time. Maybe offer payouts levels though..

Hahaha!
They have two offices.. Toronto and New York City.. I'm sure this "spring cleaning" in the Fall time won't effect any of it's publishers much.

My rep changed recently too. Of course my old rep never responded to me. My new rep has been very helpful and tries to keep in touch.
I don't really like to hear about group firings like that.. hope it is not true.

Sometimes also account managers promoting themselves when they do good business, I mean account managers also get a percentage of your leads. So when they promote themselves as a senior account manager for example that might mean also other affiliates they deal with on a daily basis. This could also influence you. I had with Azoogle so far 3 different account managers since I started with them about 1.5 years ago for different reasons!

My personal guess is that Azoogle is growing and expanding so they need to get rid of people that aren't performing well enough. |

Azoogle is one of my clients, but I have not heard what happened or if it's true. I talked to Mitch on Friday to ask what their top offers are in prep for my ShoeMoney Show on Tues. (Someone in Shoe's forum is giving me a list of questions already and one was, what are the hot offers right now.)
My STRONG guess is they are growing so fast they had to add lots of people fast and now they need to clean house for one that's didn't work out well. CPA is not slowing down. Azoogle is SLAMMED with business!

Hi guys,
We did in fact let go of some people in our Toronto office, around 16 employees. This has nothing to do with the "cpa industry slowing down." In fact, we are still growing like a weed. Azoogle still has almost 140 employees. In any growing company, you need to hire the best but also you need to ensure that you trim your staff when necessary to remove redundant employees, as well as your lowest performers. Just because someone "does the job" does not mean that they deserve to keep it. If someone else can service the client better, then we want the better employee to service the client. Azoogle was not built by hiring employees that were just "good enough," we want the best and brightest in the industry to lead this company. This round of spring cleaning won't really affect affiliates at all, as the affiliate group is only growing, in fact its nearly twice bigger today than it was 6 months ago. Hope that answers some questions, you can always reach out to me directly at alex@azoogleads.com if you have any questions. Oh, and if you're unhappy with an affiliate manager you've been assigned or simply want to change to someone new, dont keep this a secret, you know where to find me Cheers! Alex |

"Jon you must feel pretty special that we've got so many network managers here"
Yep it's great that so many network managers post here, but Alex OWNS the company so he's about 140 people up from an AM. ![]() So how cool is it that the co-founder who has a million other things to do would come here to post and give us an update! Pretty cool!

Alex's comment sounds to me like spin control. I was told by a pretty good source that the Azoogle people were let go because they are moving positions over to San Francisco. My source told me that nothing was said about redundancy or performance, but that they acquired a company in San Francisco and had to cut costs in Toronto.

Some people were let go due to performance issues, but this only affected a few individuals. We routinely let go of individuals that don't meet our peformance standards - as does any company in any industry. Thanks. Alex |

Azoogle - do they care
Come on guys.... let's be realistic. I've heard from a good source that AzoogleAds is moving all of their operations to New York City. They are closing the TO office. They don't care anymore. After they got money from investors they ended firing the people that actually help built the company. Shame, shame on AzoogleAds for forgetting where they started.
