Yesterday during Ad:Tech I got a chance to speak with a representative at 7search, who turned out to be the President of the Company.
He was only there for a few minutes but I got a chance to ask him a couple of questions.

Interface
They are working on a new interface but no word on when it'll be out.

Bidding Model
They were considering a switch to the Adwords bidding model because they estimated it would give them a 30% rise in revenue.
I tried to talk him out of it (for obvious reasons) but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Deleting Sites and Geo Targetting
There were two things I mentioned that surprised him.
For one, he wasn't aware that it's not possible to delete sites (only make them go offline). I told him they should add it as a feature and he said he'll speak to his development team.
I took me a while but I tried explaining to him that 7search needs to start doing Geo Targetting on their end, because we're paying for international clicks that we do not want. I'm not sure how well he understood me because he's an old guy and it was pretty loud.

Keyword Limit
Told him to get rid of the stupid keyword limit or at least make it easier to create duplicate accounts, he seemed to understand so we'll see what influence I had..

Stanley, if they switch bidding models I'm holding you responsible. You should have kicked him in the nuts until he agreed.
