FYI - Common sitemap protocol for the big three
The google implementation of the sitemap protocol has been under ..well ... scrutiny and been the topic of many discussions in the SEO community.
However, this seems to be one of the things to look out for in the future, as the big three (Google, Yahoo, MSN) agree on a common sitemap XML protocol.
