Fuck Google filtering "porn" sites

tiny nibbles - violet blue

Fucking SHIT, I say.

Three reasons:

1. It doesn't work. I was involved in a SE project like this. Despite best efforts, automatic filters don't work. You either block too many sites or too little. Either way, you're screwed. Even if your algo recognizes 80% right (which is about the best that was yet achieved) you're still screwing with hundreds of thousands of sites.

2. There is sites that ARE sex related which you do not want to block. Sex education, aids awareness, psychology sites or just major newspapers, TV stations or blogs.

3. This is just a money making scheme. First, you "clean" your index to present a nice facade to puritans and politicians. 2nd, you dump all the "porn" you tagged into an adult index.

ARGH...

Since their rankings have returned sounds more like a temporary Google shuffle that seems to always be happening. Some more reading here about it Boing Boing: Google "disappears" sex blogs? UPDATED , but nothing on the major adult forums like Netpond.

Bodhost has a spectacular aura about
Its really funny how they censor such things but still porn pops up in Google. But its certainly a thing that Google will surely work upon and we'll definitely see better and clean results from them.

You know what's really funny about your post? Well I don't mean like funny ha-ha but more funny queer.... it was internet porn that started most of what internet business is today.. people first showed they would use credit cards for online purchases when they used it for porn.. after that.. well all the internet things going on now is still... history in the making
