If someone can make some recommendations of good news industry blogs to syndicate here, it would be quite helpful. We are looking for actual news stories, not opinions.

What kind of news do you have in mind? I don't know for sure but is there actually news? besides google deploying new features and microsoft getting into some new browser scandal?

Actually Sitepoint does have a syndication agreement on their site, I have a site I plan on using it for. http://www.sitepoint.com/syndication/
