I have always been a fan of Steve Jobs, but since the launch of Ipad and with new terms and conditions for developers I really can't understand him. From being an open mind entrepreneur to the greedy one.
With Google the challenge will be hard for him. |

I don't suppose you have spent several months on a product, submitted it to be approved by Apple, then wait and wait for weeks without any communication. All the while, your plans for marketing are on hold and you have customers E-mailing you everyday asking when it's going to be released. Suddenly (because they won't even E-mail you to tell you its live), your App is approved and you have to work around new advertising schedules and deal with excess costs due to that. Then, a month later you send in an update to be approved by Apple (just a small bug fix, nothing changed in the application) and suddenly your App is pulled and denied from their store. Now, you have to spend even more time working with vague hints at how to get reapproved. Finally, you get your "bug fix" approved. All the while, you had released version 2 of the product and it was approved within a week while waiting on the "bug fix" to be approved. Tell me, what's not evil about that? It happens everyday with Apple. Each reviewer has different standards for what they will approve, so depending on who you get, you could be going through hell. Oh, not to mention that you have to "buy" a Mac to compile the code to submit to the store AND pay a yearly fee to submit yourself to their butt raping. |
