Hogan is not going to spend a single day behind bars. Key words: entrapment, due process, jury trial. I also seriously doubt that after dozens of hours of brainstorming with $500/hr attorneys he wouldn't by now know exactly what to say and what not to say online. There's already a civil suit between ebay and shawn in addition to the criminal case. What is so surprising is the post Hogan made. I have a real hard time believing someone who's managed to garner as much success as Shawn would post a response like that without the OK from his lawyer, he just couldn't be that stupid.

I read his response, and while it does have some taste of truth, it reads like a little shit got in the sandwich to me, some of his story doesn't really wash.

I mean honestly, who buys their AM a car? That whole explanation is a lame duck and complete untrue imo...

You honestly have no idea what you are talking about, and neither does Hogan.

Both you and Hogan mistakenly called the U.S. Attorney in charge of prosecuting this case a DA. No he is not a DA. A DA is a local prosecutor working for a U.S. a state. This is a FEDERAL prosecutor working for the FEDERAL government, there is a huge difference.

Furthermore there is absolutely no way that Hogan cleared this with his criminal defense attorney. A criminal defense attorney would NEVER authorize such a ridiculous and self incriminating blog post.

Also some of you are assuming he has the money to hire an awesome attorney due to the millions of dollars of ill gotten gains he has accrued, but there is a little thing called civil forfeiture and I am sure the feds completely cleaned Hogan's bank accounts out at this point. Though I imagine Hogan has the means of acquiring fresh income rapidly enough to afford a good criminal defense attorney assuming he's not just a dumb cookie stuffing skid with a huge forum and zero skills.

The bottom line is Hogan isn't as smart as he thinks he is, and he is in serious trouble.
