Recently I've ordered to bookmark 20 URLs... each URL was bookmarked to 20 sites.

Let's do some math: 20 * 20 = 400 - this is the number of links I've expected to get.
Actually Lalit overdelivered and I got about 460 links in the report.

I've checked them with LinkChecker and 95% of links were live!! So still I was getting more than promised. But then I decided to check if those URLs were indexed in Google.

It's been 5 days since I've received the report so Google had 5 days to find those bookmark profiles and index them... So I checked ALL the links with "site:" operator..

and....

only 13% of them were indexed!!!!! about 60 URLs out of 460 in the report!!!

and...

the 13% of links were from 5 social bookmarking sites. Meaning the number of unique linking domains was 5!!!

I don't know if other URLs will get indexed later... but seems like I've paid $40 to get 60 links from 5 domains... lame...

I promised... and I'm back!

It has almost been a month since my last message and I've checked all the bookmark links I was given for indexation once again.

Results:
96 URLs were indexed by google. (last time the number was 60)
96 indexed URLs out of 469 in the report that I was sent is 21%

Here are some of the bookmarking services with good indexation: business-planet.net, digg.com, multiply.com, laterthis.com, jamespot.com, kaboodle.com, stumbleupon.com. Others had a single or no URLs indexed.

so again.. $40/90links = $0.44 per indexed URL with my link. Now you decide if it's worth it or not. I'm not gonna order this service again. Nothing personal, just the numbers.
