I just stumbled onto this thread a couple of hours ago and after doing some reading, I'm considering purchasing LFE through your link.

I'm not new to web 2.0 properties and building backlinks, but I am new to software that automates this.

I have seen a couple of other programs mentioned in my readings, like xrumer, ubot and autopligg. Can you tell me what LFE does that these other programs cannot do and what these other programs can do that LFE does not? This question is especially directed to the xrumer software.

I'm just trying to get a grasp as to what the competitive advantages are for each piece of software.

The bulk of LFE's links come from Wordpress Multi-User sites and Pligg social bookmarking sites. There is support for Tumblr and Blogger but obviously those are only two sites, and there is a limit to how hard you can linkbuild on them.

I don't run xrumer, but as far as I know, it is not a blog management tool. It traditionally was geared more to forums, I am not sure where it has expanded to now.

They are two very different pieces of software.

Re: competitive advantages, I'm not sure what you mean exactly. If you're not familiar with blog farming or mass link building, neither tool may be for you. SENuke and Bookmarking Demon are geared more to the Web 2.0 crowd where you are aiming more for quality over quantity.

Could you build a linkwheel or something similar out of WPMU sites using LFE? Would you suggest doing such a thing?

Also, what strategy would you suggest in terms of mass link-building to your money site in order not to raise any red flags with google? Would you suggest only doing 20-30 links each day and build the links over time? Or is it more for mass linking to your web 2.0 sites and article directories?

I think linkwheeling is a bit overrated. Of course you want to link to and from your stuff, but this obsession with making fancy link structures which require maintenance to be effective isn't how I like to work.

Link one way starting with your crappiest links, all of the way up to your best links and then finally to your money page.

Can you linkwheel with LFE? Yes. But I think it is not worthwhile. We don't own the MU hosts. They go up, and they go down. We have no control over that. If you one way link, then when one or three blogs go down, you won't lose everything.

I don't worry about red flags.

Yes, I launder links through other authority properties and don't do all of my linking direct.

This general SEO stuff is probably better placed in the Traffic forum if you have more questions along these lines. I'd like to keep this thread focused on pre-sales as much as possible. If you post to Traffic, PM me and I will try my best to answer you there.

I'm very interested in LFE for some of my more aggressive projects in a few months. But here's my problem with this thread - in the entire conversation, there has been ONE post about the real results - changes in SERPs!!!

- Can anyone give me some details on how they're doing in the SERPs with using LFE as their primary backlinking tool?

Sorry, I don't show my stuff to anyone unless I know them well.

I would advise against doing this because LFE is not suited to be used for blasts like xrumer. It is a link building tool that leverages a lot of accumulated weight. People who build and want to stare at the SERPs waiting for changes are not using it correctly. In fact, I would argue they are not doing SEO properly.

That's fair. I would rather people make an informed purchase than a hasty one.

They have their own service, which they don't make any margin on because it is quite cheap. It is manual captcha solving. The captcha code is not encrypted, so people can have other captcha services plug in if they want. But right now, only the LFE captcha system is officially supported by LFE.

$0.0015 per captcha, in lots of $5 and $10 (Approx 3,300 and 6,600)

Depends on what you are doing. Everyone seems to like ProxyBonanza for private. There are some other services. I also have some private places to scrape for public proxies, which can also be checked with Scrapebox and the proxies it scrapes.

Generally, I don't use proxies since my LFE install is already remotely hosted.

Yeah, but I generally don't post articles. Blog posts are not usually articles. They are short snippets of text, some quotes, backlink, an image etc. If your stuff is spin ready {1|2|3|4}, that is good. LFE also has a powerful hook engine that lets us pull in dynamic content from a couple sources like flickr, associated content, google blogsearch, as well as pull data from any compliant RSS feed, and spin the queries for those different content sources. There is also a translate hook, but I don't use it, so I can't remember if it is one way translate, or translate to a new language and back to original.

Sort of, sort of, no and no. I say sort of, because I haven't tested spinning the way I think you mean, and I would have to test to say for sure.

The scheduler is coming. Version 2 is being worked on now, and it will include the scheduler, but there is no release date, so it could be a few weeks yet. Maybe longer. I'm not able to say for sure.

You can select blogs individually, in groups, or en masse. There is a tagging facility to keep your blogs in groups for different operations.

I'm not sure how to answer this. The entire thing is a dashboard. The blog farm is managed by selecting created blogs from the database, by checkbox, by tag etc, and then running operations on them, from purging the blogroll, to randomizing the template, to posting etc.

LFE backs itself up daily. It can also (manually) update remotely.

Sure they can. If I was doing something that people would complain about. What I do is create accounts on free blog sites, and post somewhat decent content. There isn't a lot to complain about when I am using the system as it is (generally) intended to be used.

If you are selling controlled pharmas or promoting porn/gambling you might have a different perspective, but I am not doing that. I am promoting product and service based websites, cpc, cpa and cps offers.

Many people are scared to aggressively link build because they are worried that they need proxies to do so. In many cases, one does not. If one of my LFE customers wants to use proxies, I can help them find some ok free ones, or direct them to some good paid ones.

guerilla, when you export all your blogs, does it let you export to csv with a keyword or some other identifier on the same line?

Say I wanted to take the exported csv and put it into another script to build links to each created blog using a given anchor text. Is that possible...like there's a place to specify keywords, or I'd just have to export each blog with the tag on hte same line and then mass find/replace the tag? What are the options for exporting?

Right now, export pulls about 13 columns of data.

One of those columns is tags. So you can tag your blogs (as most people do) to keep them organized into groups, and when you export them, tag data gets exported as well.

It registers blogs on WPMU installations. WPMU is the multi-user version of wordpress so one installation can have lots of different blogs made by lots of people on it. So LFE finds sites running WPMU, registers blogs, and allows you to post content to those blogs.

The site Link Farm Evolution — Link Building Tool For Endless Backlinks says it does the same thing on Tumblr, Wordpress.com, and blogger. So in theory you could use it to creates hundreds or thousands of different blogs.
