Quick review of this service. I paid full price (this wasn't a review copy). The provider delivered within 24 hours of submission. Note that this provider appears to be located in Europe so if you're actually trying to time something that is in fact newsworthy (as I was) you'll want to take that into account and plan ahead. This point should be moot if you're just trying to create news around your topic.

The news story was delivered as promised and the posting (on the OP's site) is currently sitting at #1 for the search term I targeted thanks to Google News. It will be interesting to see how long that position lasts. I'm not to familiar with how long Google News stories "take over" the SERPs. Maybe the OP can shed some light on this.

I would certainly consider ordering this again. I am curious about how much click through traffic I will get to my own site (remember that it's the OP's site that gets the Google News traffic) and will watch that closely over the next day.

I'd also like to know how effective it is for terms that aren't actually newsworthy. For example, would Google News pick up a posting on "weight loss" or "acai berry" or just some random long-tail topic one happens to be targeting?

BugBug, if I am on Second Page (Rank 13), do you think your service would increase my SERP, i know you cannot guarantee, but based on your experience what do you think?

I have done web 2.0's, profile at high PR sites, videos, articles, directories, RSS, and social bookmarking, and alot, to get to page 2

As from my experience it will not boost your SERP, it has to be a real good/strong site in google eyes if you expect to get some link juice from it. You can find sites like these but prices on them for similar services are much much bigger then bugbug's offer. Depending from your product/site google news is a good source if you want to increase traffic to your site instantly it converts really nice
