I am quite a noob but am trying to learn. I was wondering if any more experienced webmasters would be interested in me signing up under them as a webmaster for something if they'd be willing to occasionally answer a few questions? I figure this would make it interesting for you because you would also get paid (I guess depending on the offer) as I learned more... I don't know if this is even kosher or not (please tell me if it isn't) or even appealing to someone but I'm just trying to think outside the box at the moment.

... and don't forget to drink plenty of water, floss daily, exercise frequently, eat a balanced diet, be a good person, AND get 8 hours of sleep a night.

BTW, you really need to read and test.

Listen, bring something of expertise that someone else might need to the table and someone might pick you up. Meaning:
Expert web designing
expert flash design
expert PHP/MySQL coder
SEO expert.

I am really good at marketing, out-of-box thinking, and know just enough about whitehat SEO to rank good enough to make good profit. I know shit about php so my viable partner is an expert PHP coder and has good enough connections to get us good servers, good design work, etc.

There's a free eB**k around that gives a great explanation of playing to your strengths. Basic marketing-psychology shit, but still very useful if you are new to the game.

Basically you've gonna have some abilities that are better than average, if you can identify them and use them you'll have an advantage over peeps who aren't as talented in that area.

It's one of those mailing list enticers, very well written though - I'll dig it out if anyone's interested.

In all seriousness, there is some great info to be found here. I didnt start that long ago but I read, test, read, test and I am still reading and testing some more, but Im making $, so I must be doing something right!

Good, I'm glad someone took the advice to heart, you wouldn't believe some people when you tell them to read and test they are like "WHAT read and test?, read what?, test what?, then you give them a list of what to read and they come back saying hey I just spent all day reading and still don't make anything haha.

It takes a long time to learn and it takes time to learn to test but for some reason people still think that money will come to them online just because they want it.
