Help Adsense is killing my buzz

I've got adsense on my blog, I don't get a massive number of clicks, so I really want to maximise how much I get for each click. Lately (with some exceptions) I've been making around 0.03 cents a click and it's starting to annoy me!

What can I do to try and improve the average CPC? Anything? I mean my blog is fairly random, so I guess I should expect randomness in terms of adsense, but I'd rather not be consistently raking in 3cents a click!

The whole "Swollen Pickles" thing probably isn't helping a whole lot. If you want really better paying clicks, you need to focus your posts on higher CPC topics -- gotta do the research, I can't help you.

Also strip out, or minimize any non-Adsense links as much as possible. When someone glances at your page for 5 seconds, their eyes should be immediately drawn to the ads. You may also be seeing the lower paying ads close to your content, with the high paying ads taking up the wide banner at top.
