Tracking for CPV & Media Buys??

Hi - I have Prosper202 setup whihc is mainly focussed on PPC tracking, but i see you can also use it for CPV tracking too - just wondering if anyone has other suggestions for CPV/PPC tracking?

Also, can you use Prosper202 for tracking clicks & conversions for media buy campaigns, and if so, is there a guide/website somewhere to see how to do this [can't find anything on tracking202 website about media buy tracking].
 


hi jonathan - yeah, i came accross that today when browsing - it's $300 for the first year, then $150 per yr thereafter - it does look really good tho - i wonder if CPV Lab can be used for everything else tho? Like media buys? I only do smalltime media buys where i contact sites directly myself and just ask to put my banner on these sites for fixed monthly fees, but not sure how best to track clicks & conversions for these? i haven't gone to media buy networks yet, but i will when i make better money.

ideally i would like to have one tracking system for all ad types - ppc, cpv, google content network, media buy/display, & email. just wondering if thats possible with prosper202, or with any tracking solution out there - being an ex-beancounter i like to see the numbers - you've got nothing without the numbers, so for me this is the most important part of any campaign

all tracking ideas welcome!

Clicks and conversions - You can use Prosper.

If you want to track impressions, you'll want an adserver. Haven't used OpenX, but it's open source.
 
^ def. an adserver. but if you're just starting out on media buys, then openx will do just fine.
 
If your doing media buys through networks there is no point in setting up and ad server, just use prosper.
