Is it easier to promote cheap products (more sales, lower profit) or is it more profitable to promote more expensive stuff (less sales, higher profits)?
I know I don't buy a lot of the expensive stuff online so I wonder if a PPC campaign would have a good conversion rate. |

It depends on a lot of different factors - keywords, ad copy, daily budget, etc. It's different for everyone.
Basically, there is no real answer to your question. I recommend that you stick to less expensive products (more sales, lower profit) while you're learning the ropes.
